0.33L bottle, small head that dissapears very quickly. uniform opaque black colour, aroma of charred wood, dark chocolate and whiffs of smoke, charred wood dominates the flavour with hints of dried fruits and dark bread, almost completely dry. feels quite fat and silky, long bitter aftertaste. Quite impressive.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours pitch black with a light brown head. Burned malty nose. Medium body, burned maltiness with a little dried fruits and some residual sugars. Some dark chocolate accents. Discreet malt bitterness. A little too sweet to be a proper Dry Stout, but a pleasant drink. 031009

Bottle (courtesy of DSG): Hazy, copper coloured with a quickly collapsing head; perfumed hoppy and fruity-malty nose; quite dry bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; lingering aromatic hoppy finish, some yeast detectable. Not bad, if it was kosher.........

LCRBM 2009. Looks good, modest turbid, small head. Modest malty-mushy, finish more and more dry, moldy hoppy notes. Not bad! Thanks to DSG for bringing it!

Hazy orange-foxy beer. Nice, near US-hops nose with a lot of citrus and quite a chalk touch. Tangerine peel, citrus and sweet-yeasty notes in the finish especially. Medium bodied, yeastladen, slick. Nice one, certainly for a newly converted homebrewer.

33 cL bottle, courtesy of DSG. Pours hazy dark orange with a small and quickly gone head. Aroma is citrusy and mild yeasty. Yeasty, roasted caramel malty and citrusy flavoured. Bitter and citrusy/tangerine flavoured finish. Smooth and yeasty lasting impression.

Re-rate 2/12: Bottle sample at a Stouts & Porters blind tasting at Sar HaMashkaot Ramat Gan. Black with a light brown head. Acidic vegetal and fruity aroma with a bit of roastiness. Acidic-sweetish fruity flavor with a bit of roastiness and a bit of chocolate. Light to medium-bodied. Infected. 4/4/4/3/8=2.3

Re-rate 12/8/10: Draught sample at the brewery in Yehiam. Roasty and coffee-ish. Aroma suggests something was a bit off with the fermentation (maybe the beer’s too young?). 5/4/7/3/12=3.1

Bottle. Black-colored with a huge, slowly-diminishing brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, some coffee, a bit of fruits and some acidic malt notes. Bittersweet roasty flavor with chocolate, coffee and some fruitiness. Finishes bitter with some herbal and smoky touches. Silky mouthfeel. Not bad. 6/4/7/4/13=3.4

Re-rate 12/8/10: Draught sample at the brewery in Yehiam. Hazy pale golden. Aroma and flavor of floral hops, yeast, some wheat and earthy notes. A long pleasant bitter finish. Medium-bodied. I like the hops. 6/3/7/3/14=3..3

Bottle. Hazy golden color with a big, pretty, shaving-foam head. Spicy aroma with yeast and fruity esters. Sweetish malt flavor, followed by spicy yeasty sweetness with some citric notes. Medium-bodied. Decent. 7/4/6/3/13=3.3

Re-rate 2/20/14; draughtat Beer Market Jaffa. Sligtly hazy, almost clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma of malt, biscuity and a bit caramelly, with floral hops, slightly citric and earthy, and a light fruity yeast note. Sweetish malt flavor, a bit biscuity and caramelly, a bit of yeast, mild floral and earthy hops and a mild bitterness in the finish with a light citric note. Medium-bodied. Pretty easy-drinking. 6/3/6/3/13=3.1

Bottle. Hazy, slightly reddish, amber color with a huge bubbly white head that disappears fairly quickly. Nice aroma of earthy British hops and some slightly biscuity malt. Sweetish flavor of bread, caramel and a bit of biscuits, some yeast, some fruitiness, and a bitter hoppy finish with citric notes. Medium-bodied. 7/3/6/3/13=3.2
