0,33l bottle at home shared with Saeglopur from trade with tomer, big thanks. BB 24.09.2016. black color, small tan head. smells quite earthy, milky, coffee, bitter chocolate, light vanilla. quite good smell. medium to full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes earthy, bitter chocolate, coffee, some vanilla, licorice, some roast. finishes lightly earthy bitter and roasty with notes of coffee and bitter chocolate. quite nice and enjoyable beer, rather complex even.

11.2 oz. bottle. Pour is deep gold and hazy with a considerable white head. Some sediment at the bottom of the bottle, which for the most part, did not make it into my glass. Aroma is citrus, spice, and light-malt, almost wheat-like. Taste is orange peel, spice, bread, wheat, and mild lime with some floral elements. Finishes dry and mildly bitter. Light-bodied. Moderate to high carbonation. Not bad.

Coffee and roast aroma. Oats appear as it warms. Black with full brown head. Slick and roasty. Thinnish mouthfeel. Low bitterness.

Bottle. Amber with a fading beige head. Aroma of caramel, grapefruit peel. Sweet with some sticky bread crust, citrus and some herbal notes. Quite dry and moderately bitter at the end. Lacks a bit of body for 5.5% but refreshing and pleasant enough.

Bottle at the DC Local Gathering on 8/1/2015. Dark brownish black with light tan head. Aromas of roast, chocolate, coffee. Tastes of roast, chocolate, caramel, malt. Medium-light body with a dry finish.

12oz bottle pours a murky black with a ring of off white head. Nose has molasses, licorice, lightly cakey, mild yeast. Flavor has the same, licorice, molasses, chewy grains, light chocolate. Dry and chalky on the palate.
