Small glass, draught at CrowBar & Bryggeri. Bubbly, patchy surface. Transparent, deep ruby coloured body. Mixed aromas of pine and dark malts. Fine blended taste of earthy malts, coffee grounds, and citrus fruits. Roasted malt-fruity ending. Oily palate. Well bodied. Easy to quaff (Oslo 10.12.2013).

Fra flaske på DSJT, Cardinal nov-13: krydder i aroma og smak. Rund og lettdrikkelig med en tørr ettersmak.

50cl bottle from Joker. Pours just slightly hazy deep golden with a white head. Moderate hoppy aroma with fruits, citrus and malt. Moderate sweet with fruity and citrusy flavorus and a pleasant bitterness and a somewhat dry finish. Fairly light body with a bit lively carbonation. Mild, but pleasant, refreshing and quite sessionable. Wouldn’t mind more of this one.(Batch#11) --- Beer merged from original tick of Cascadian APA on 27 Nov 2013 at 00:06 - Score: 7

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy amber with a small, off-white head. Dry and somewhat spicy aroma although no spices were added - must be a yeast job! Medium body, a slightly tart but interesting fruitiness - not sure if theres a lurking infection. Hardly any hops to be detected. Drinkable indeed, just not very exciting at all. 101113

Shared 2 liter bottle / jug, at Mandag i Annen at Cardnal (so far not in ordinary sale there). ABV is 4.7%. Aroma and flavour more like a standard English bitter or golden ale, rather than an APA. Nothing wrong with it, but fairly bland and uninteresting.
