500 ml test bottle from the brewery. Batch #8. ABV is 5.7%. Golden colour, moderate white head. Moderate aroma of sweetish malts and fruity American hops, a hint of marmalade,a whiff of diacetyl. Fizzy mouthfeel. The flavour is moderately fruity and medium bitter, with some "dusty" notes in the background. Okay, but not quite there with the top ales of the style.

Mye fin fruktighet i bakgrunnen.

Clear golden colour, light amber shine, white head. Light hoppy aroma, hay, biscuit. Malty flavour, biscuit, hay. Light bitter finish, hay, hops, malts. Crisp and fresh, bit light on the hops though.
(50cL bottle @ home. From trade with Cunningham, thanks!! Not the first, but still within the 1st ten ;) )

Appearance: Hazy golden color with a white head.
Aroma: Mild hoppy and mild fruity.
Palate: Medium body. Moderate sweet and a fine bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: A lot of caramel malt. Very mild hop profile. Mild fruity.
Overall impression: Fresh, but still a bit boring. Missed a bit more dominant hop profile in a beer like this.

Bottle, 50cl, courtesy of Cunningham. It pours an unclear, orange-golden body and a small, off-white head. A bit boring aroma, fruity and lighlty orange peel-ish, some biscuity malts too, but not enough of anything. Some maltyness, mostly orangey hops, with some bitterness chiming in towards the end. Medium body, lacking a bit on carbonation. Semi-dry. Mostly bitter finish. Well, far from bad, but rather boring. Not what I’d expect considering the brewer. 131026

Lang ettersmak men litt sur bitterhet i avslutningen. Et øl verdt å oppsøke.
