On tap at the brewery. A creamy two-finger off-white head forms over a hazy golden body. The aroma has a nice spiced rye touch, it’s a bit weak, with citrus and peaches. A nice bitterness in the flavor, faintly spiced with some citrus and peaches. Like the aroma, a bit weak. Full body and a nice carbonation level. Lasting finish. A nice one, but sort of messy... like the name indicates. 140215

500ml bottle, batch nr.7, kindly brought back home from Fredrikstad by Frau Eva. Shared with Finn. Slightly cloudy golden body. Low white head, lacing rings down the glass. Moderate aroma of citrus and earthy malts. Joint flavour of herbal hops and fresh citrus, hints of peach, lemon and grapefruit peels towards the ending. Soft in the mouth. Easy to drink. Satisfying (Tromsø 06.02.2014).

50cl bottle from Meny, Oslo City. Pours very dark brown with a rather small, beige head. Moderate roasty aroma with notes of dark chocolate, malt and hints of coffee, caramel and hops. Moderate sweet with nice roasty flavours and a mild but balanced bitterness. Nice and sessionable.

500 ml bottle, batch #9, as Nøisom Gullinbuste’s Torreblot Nordic Ale. ABV is 6.8%. Cardinal’s Yule beer tasting. Hazy brown colour, moderate off-white head. Sweetish malty aroma, with strong notes of caramel. The flavour is also malty with caramel - and that’s it. Hardly any noticeable hops, and no particular finesse - but the beer is drinkable enough. Unless you hate caramel. Not a beer I’d buy again.
