Keg at Skaal, CPH, 09/05/18. Hazed golden amber with a well presented egg shell white covering. Nose is orange pith, light pine, toasted malts, grapefruit. Taste comprises orange pith, melon, caramel malts, light breads, pine needle, grassy. Medium plus body, fine carbonation, semi aggressive hop bitterness in the close. Ok DIPA ... another one from the old skool recipe book by this brewer.

Keg at Skaal, CPH, 09/05/18. Lightly hazed golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is toasted malts, orange peel, lemon rind, caramel. Taste comprises candied fruits, caramel, orange, grassy, toasted grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with moderate hop bitterness. Passable IPA ... old skool leaning but not as good as the previous one.

Taste comprises caramel malts, light pine, orange peel, biscuit crumbs, citric doused straw, toasted grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with balanced hop bitterness. OK IPA with an old skool leaning.

Can 33cl de Beer Store Barcelona, BB 05/10/2018, lot# 17-028. Brune, col moyen café au lait retombant vite. Arôme est porté sur le malt, mettant en avant des effluves de grillé, rétro chocolaté. Une petite douceur perce en rétro nasal. Palais est malté avec un agréable côté torréfié apportant un caractère café léger qui est ponctué par une petite note douceur et chocolatée qui tranche bien avec le côté café. Amertume est fine tirant sur léger citronné voire agrumes de pamplemousse - soupçonne un houblon américain.

33cl can de Beer Store Barcelona, BB 22/03/2019, batch# 18-039. Orangé, col épais crémeux blanc-cassé. Arôme houblonné un peu herbacé, pointe de résineux, nez de cône de houblon assez vert. Palais est de premier abord sur un malté un peu caramel, le caractère est sec, grains, avec un rappel américain côté ouest - c-hops? léger résineux, fruité tropical modéré. Petite douceur lancinante de caramel.

33cl can de Beer Store Barcelona, BB 18/01/2019, batch# 17-032. Dorée-orangée, col épais crémeux blanc-cassé. Arôme légumineux, le tout rappelle le céleri au premier abord, par après décantation, un effet de menthe et léger abricot. Le tout ponctué par note d'orange. Palais sec un peu poussiéreux, encore céleri avec un fini herbacé - touche fruité d'agrumes, citronné. Amertume perdure et revient sur l'abricot et les agrumes. On retrouve les grandes lignes des classiques IPA sur C-Hops.

150ml draught, TTO at Skaal. Shared with Skinnyviking. Declining fawn-coloured head leaving spotty lacing on the glass. Near black body with a dark reddish tint. Sweet oak-like aromas, hints of dried fruits. Blended taste of chocolate, ash, earth and prunes. Prolonged ending. Nice sipper, rather sweet, perfect for sharing. (Copenhagen 10.05.2018).

150ml draught, TTO at Skaal. Shared with Skinnyviking. Filmy layer, dotted spots, black body. Roasted malts on the nose, sweet and boozy. Spiced and roasted malty flavours, added by banana sweetness and modest dark spices. Ashy palate. Malt-driven ending, dry. Pleasing. (Copenhagen 10.05.2018).
