From tap at Poesiat & Kater, Amsterdam. Caramel malt aroma with some fruitiness from the Cascara. Yeast, dried fruits, raisins, plum, hint of cocoa, dark malt. Sweet with a wisp of alcohol in the finish. Above medium body. Good Quad with plenty goin' on.

From tap at Poesiat & Kater, Amsterdam. Sweet with an aroma of spicy estery yeast, grainy malt, touch of Soraci fruitiness and banana. Pretty sweet taste, medium body. Good Tripel with a modest 'hoppy twist'.

Can from Mr. Hop. Aroma is citrussy hop with orange, grapefruit, some floral hints. Flavour is medium bitter, lightly sweetish. Light and weak body. Aroma checks out, flavour too, body is noticeably absent.

Can 33cl. @home poured into a shaker. Herbal nose. Almost clear pale golden colour, good frothy white head, good retention, fair lacing. Aroma sweet malt, lemon, grain, ginger, galanga, yeast notes; retronasal ginger. galanga. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, lemon, lemon grass, ginger, galanga, grain, husky notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, spicy notes, ginger and galanga till the end, more a mild spice beer than a blond, refreshing, nice.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Roasty aroma with hoppy notes, citrus, some grapefruit, pine, touch of chocolate. Decent bitterness with light sweetness. Fruity roasty piney finish. Solid BIPA, checks the relevant boxes.

250ml draft pour at Proeflokaal Arendsnest. Pours a near clear amber with a white head. Aromas & tastes of tangerine, mango, melon, pine, grass & Sorachi hops. Medium body. Light bitter finish.
