A couple tastes while pouring at ACBF. Pours a hazy, dull, yellow color, with a small, bubbly, tan head. The aroma is oak, apple brandy, strong rye, hay, syrup, and caramel. Very sweet and boozy, with a bit of dank bitterness. Heavy body, with a sticky, syrupy mouthfeel. This is a fun beer - big and complex, but not great.
