Taster at the Carter Payne. Pours dark brown, with a medium, foamy, tan head. The aroma is caramel, light peat, brown sugar, and cream. Sweet and sugary, without any bitterness. Medium body, with a syrupy, thick mouthfeel. This is a pretty tasty, malty beer. Lacks a lot of the scotch character I was hoping for.
