Description
Good in brewing beer. Bad in writing bios. Madness from Budapest challenging almost everything you know about beer. Always flawless, always bold, never boring. Not necessary business-wise all the time, but setting the standards high for ourselves every time as we truly believe in the cliché that goes like ‘the way you do something is the way you do anything’.

Can at home from the brewery. Pours murky hazy orange with thin white head. Nose is orange zest, candy and tropical fruit sweetness, ripe mango, a bit perfumey. Also some booze. Taste is cantaloupe, tropical fruits, a faint coconut touch, sticky booze sweetness, tutti frutti, some bitterness and hop burn at the and of the sip, but nothing too overwhelming of these two. Closes with long lasting chewy sweet finish, has light to medium body and soft carbo. It's not bad by far but it feels like something's missing or idk and the balance could be better as well. Really hard to put my hand on what's missign, but it's surly not quite there.

Can shared at work. Pours hazy orangeish golden with thin head. Nose is intense tropical fruits, citrus zest and passion fruit. Taste is a mix of light sweetness, lactose and oats and rather sharp tartness of the added fruit with some bitterness. Kinda messy. Closes with tart and bitter finish, has light creamy body and soft carbo. Definitely a better effort than the previous batch, the aroma is rather promising, but in taste it doesnt deliver as much.

Can at home. Pours copper with off white head. Nose is light booze, some caramel and hops, rather faint altogether. Taste is sweet booze, caramel, pine and citruses but like the aroma it's all pretty restrained. Closes with a bittersweet finish, has light to medium body and soft carbo, drinks below the ABV. It'd be nice but all the characteristics are rather vague, expected much more tbh.

Can at home, courtesy of the Mad crew. Pours glowing ruby with a quickly disappearing, thin head. Nose is mainly led by basil but there sure is some underlying strawberry in there, it's tart, fruity and spicy. Taste is sour upfront with some faint srawberries, a touch of basil and some malty character. Closes with a tart, salty finish, has light body and soft to average carbo. On the one hand it's tasty and has an interesting enough character, but on the other it somehow feels too sour, the fruit doesnt come through as much as I'd like (although strawberry is a fucker to work with) and the basil feels overwhelming here and there. I'm sure it would help a lot it there was 30C outside haha.

Can from the brewery. Pours hazy orangeish golden with no head. Nose is led by vanilla and passion fruit, or rather, it's all I get but I swear it actually reminds me of madártej. Taste is moderately tart first off, then turns sweet, it shows vanilla and passion fruit, some lactose too. Nicely balanced. Closes with a sweetish, somewhat tart finish, has a light yet full body, soft carbo. Drinks way below the abv, nice refreshing sour even with this high ABV. Reminds me of a tasty ice cream really.

Taste is lightly grassy, moderately bitter fruity sweetness, with notes of cantaloupe, mango, apricot and citrus zest. Closes with bittersweet jammy fruity finish, has light to medium body and soft carbonation. Good one.

Can shared at work. Pours golden with thick white head. Nose is fruity, a bit vineous hops, light honey and some malts. Taste is light to moderate bitterness, some fruity notes, honey again, and even some alcohol. Closes with sweetish fruity finish, has light body and soft to average carbo. Not your usual wc hop profile, and some more bitternes wouldnt have hurt.

Can at home, courtesy of the Mad crew, koszi szepen! Pours murky yellowish with a white head. Nose is huuuge citrus bomb, zesty, with a hint of tropical fruity bubblegum. Lovely. Taste is low bitterness, citra all over(duh) zesty citrus. Closes with a long lasting, dry and bitter finish, has a nice full body (for this ABV at least) and soft to average carbonation. The aroma is lovely on this one, taste-wise it’s not as outstanding but still pretty solid. Nice pale ale all in all.

Can at home. Pours black with a finger wide beige head. Nose is lactosey milk chocolatey sweetness, a hint of hazelnut. Taste is milk chocolate, some cocoa powder and touches of hazelnut and lactose, rather sweet and one dimensional tbh. Closes with a sweet finish, has a light, creamy body and soft carbonation. Pretty one-sided and rather mediocre tbh, expected a lot more from this.

Can shared at home. Pours dark brown, almost black with a beige head. Nose is cocoa powder, some coffee and chocolate. Taste is light coffee, dry cocoa and chocolate, hints of coconut. Light body, soft to average carbo, drinks waaay below the ABV. Too thin (almost watery) and the coconut is nowhere to be found. Expected much more tbh.
