Bottle. Clear brown color with soapy beige head. Aroma is cocoa, not much else. Taste is cocoa indeed, fresh, a bit earthy, quite light. Easy drinking, not bad.

Bottle courtesy of Dave (Munich RB tasting group), had this at home Thursday 12th November 2020 listening to Austrian radio station FM4, we're going to be cooking vegetarian pies, with mashed potato and peas and Brussels for tea. Pours very dark brown edging toward black, however, it is definitely not black as I can also see ruby glints. Nice mouthfeel, soft, a little creamy almost on the tongue. Taste is pleasantly bitter, smokiness apparent but more subtle than expected which is good as the BIPA characteristics are still allowed some wriggle room. Fruity and bitterness continue but it's a real nice sipper, I like this, it is a very nice beer.

Bottle from the brewery. Drunk just after hearing that Biden has been declared winner, gotta drink an American style made by an Ami! Great and robust pumpkin pie nose, small head. Very full flavor, sweet but with a good balance of bitterness. Wow, the honey and spices are really a fantastic match in this one! Smooth and fresh tasting with a lasting pumpkin pie aftertaste.

Bottle filled directly at the brewery and drunk on the same day. Lightly hazy gold color, small head, nose has a bit of grain and a great fruit & citrus aroma. Great mild but complex citrus mix, dry, with smooth bitterness that fits the Pale Ale moniker perfectly. One of the best American pales I've had made in Germany!

Tap at Hopdog. Dark grey clouds in front of a amber base, off-white creamy head. Cummin seed, coriander and hop perfume nose. Medium body, dry mineral and spice entry, roast, licorice, light pie, nice perfume retronasal. Very interesting, sparkly spice without it becoming tedious.

On tap at HopDog München Thursday 15th October 2020, gold in colour with a white head, looks pretty clear as well with just a light chill haze. A little soft and creamy mouthfeel, hoppiness is a constant but it's certainly not too harsh. Really good beer.
