75 cl botle at hevig hoekske.splitted with friends . i was a bit dissapointed about this one. its a good beer, but thats it. there’s nothing extra ( to me). this is just what a stout should taste like, but has nothing that makes you wanna have this exact one.. this would all be ok, if where not that it is such a high priced bottle ( here in europe that is . ) great artwork, funny text, and a ’good’ taste is what you get. its a cool bottle to enjoy with friends ( in this bar, you get 5 euros discount if you paint your face black metal style and order this ) due to the things around it, but for the taste, its just not worth it ( to me ). the other persons i drank it with enjoyd this more than a black damnation I-IV or even a hel en verdoemenis, this is now there favourite stout. donno, maybe i didsnt taste something they did, but i stick with my opinion, good, not great.

On cask at Petrol Station. Pours a very dark brown with a small tan hea that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is coffee pepper and smoke. Thin mouthfeel with a strong coffee and roast with nice boozy smoke finish. Alcohol present but not overpowering. A very good imperial stout from Jester King.

Towering, dense, fine, lightly yellowish head, reducing itself to fluffy eggwhite over veiled orange beer. Very aromatic, citrussy & resiny hops in force. Yet also garden herbs/weeds and lunaria; rosewater for the sweeter streak and rainwater. Very refreshing; hops, exotic fruit, citrus, rosewater, all diluted with rainwater. Easy drinking indeed. Light, refreshing; faint, but aromatic aftertaste. Very good session beer: mission accomplished.

Bottle at the Beer Temple Amsterdam. Cloudy amber pour. Minor head, no lacing. Sour, uninspiring aroma. Taste much better. Would say more but ran out of beer! Rather expensive here in Holland at 20 Euros a bottle and probably not worth it, but nice to taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
