0.75 l bottle from 'Bergmann Stehbierhalle', bottle #60/100, best before August 2026. Very dark ruby to black with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently vinous-fruity and a bit roasty aroma of caramel, red wine, some vanilla and light chocolate. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly roasty and gently vinous-fruity taste of caramel, chocolate, toasted hazelnut, red wine, some vanilla and hints of red berries, followed by a medium long, gently roasty-bitter, a little woody finish. Medium to full body, minimally astringent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. What a weird idea to wax a swing top bottle, took me at least ten minutes to open it. Anyway, quite a solid brew, very pleasant to drink, really well-balanced. The wine barrel adds complexity and a light but refreshing wooden note to it. Very enjoyable overall.

24/1/2026. Bottle at ITFC Beer share. Courtesy of Boris, cheers! Pours well enough. Nice aroma. Sweet, caramel, golden syrup, banana, yeasty, biscuit, clove. Fairly sweet, mild bitterness. Good body, quite smooth, average carbonation. Well done.

0,75 l bottle from Dehlwisch, Lohne. BB 20.08.2025. Cloudy darker golden in the glass, one finger white head. Floral alcoholic aroma with malt. Taste starts malty with a lot of floral fruity elements, mandarine, citrus, banana. Sweet and alcoholic, some sharpness. Strong stuff.

A slightly hazy golden beer with a white head. Aroma of resinous bitter hops, apricot, ripe mango. Taste of oranges, ripe grapefruit, stone fruits, long bitter finish.

0,75 l swing top bottle from Dehlwisch, Lohne. BB 29.04.2026. A nice copper in the glass, small one finger white head. A lot of floral bitterhop with resin on the nose, malty. Taste is malty, dry, black tea, floral bitterhop in the second row with pine and resin. Little bit above average carbonated. Nice one.

0.75 l bottle from 'Bergmann Stehbierhalle', best before November 2025. Very hazy, pale orange with a medium large, foamy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, rather fruity-floral aroma of orange, passion fruit and some mango. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, rather fruity-floral taste of orange, passion fruit, mango and hints of nettles, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Medium body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pleasant ale, nicely fruity, solid mouthfeel despite its low abv.
