Can. Hazy golden body with a thick white head. Steady carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of minerals, custard creams and sweat. Flavour of grass, fresh hops, watermelon and a juicy lime finish. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Hoppy and juicy with a lovely watermelon vibe. Probably the UKโs best Pale Ale.

Sampled at a tasting. Very hazy orange pour with a white head. Notes of dank hops, tropical fruit (mango, pineapple mostly) grassy hops, herbal notes, malt sweetness. Nice juicy mouthfeel. Quite good. --- Beer merged from original tick of Steady Rolling Man 2016 on 07 Apr 2017 at 17:23 - Score: 8

Had many times since my original reviews and it's so consistently good. World class pale ale. Leaving my earliest can and keg rates here.
22/12/2017: Tap at Deya Taproom. Hazy golden colour with a small white head. Juicy tropical fruit aroma, stone fruits. Taste of juicy tropical fruits, stone fruits, citrus, light malts, light sweet, moderate bitterness. Medium body, soft carbonation. Still lovely. Not as sweet as it was when canned earlier in the year.
08/04/2017: 500ml can from Favourite Beers, Cheltenham. Cloudy/hazy golden orange colour with a one-finger frothy slightly off-white head, good retention, nice lacing. Aroma: lots of juicy tropical fruits, peach, mango. Taste: light sweet tropical fruit, orange and mango, citrus, grapefruit, pleasant moderate bitterness. Light-medium body, soft carbonation, crisp and refreshing, highly drinkable stuff. What an awesome APA, exactly what I want from this style.

Can at home, gusher. Pours hazy golden, nose is honey, orange, grapefruit, taste is sweet honey, juicy fruit, not really sure I get the milkshake.

Can from Park Fever, Hither Green. Milky orange pour with a white head. Grapefruit, mango, peach and apricot nose. Flavours of banana, a whisper of toffee, apricot, grapefruit, lime, vanilla. Nice fruit burst on the palate. Good stuff.

Keg at the Hop Locker - London. Pours murky gold with a frothy, white head. The nose has some ripened citrus fruits, lime rind, pine, melon, bready pale malts. Medium sweet flavour with with some bready sugars, mild rindy and piney bitterness, fresh hop pellets, ripe tangerine. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Decent balance in the finish, more plump and juicy citrus character, a little flinty yeast, pale bread sweetness, some further piney botes. Overall, good stuff.

Keg at the Hoplocker, 17/03/17. Light hazed on a golden pour topped with a respectable off white head. Nose is pine needle, danko exhaust, orange pith, straw, mango. Taste comprises toasted brioche, mango, jammy citric rinds, grapefruit, melon, pine needle. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with light danky hop bitterness. Solid APA.

Growler fill. Little Leeds Beer House. Very hazy, dark gold. Dense, foamy, sticky, messy, lasting, white head. Couldnโt look much better. Nose has zested citrus. Orange and lime, mostly. Clean, bready malts. A little yeasty and raw. Further notes of pineapple and white grape. Taste is sweet and juicy, with a soft bitterness. More of the yeasty thing, giving a little dryness. Foamy and juicy mouthfeel. Light bitter finish. Lovely.

Can at home, 17th March 17. Pours murky orange brown, some head. Aroma is tropical fruit, ripe mango. Taste is full, rich tropical fruit mango, a tingle of bitterness. Delicious DIPA
