On tap at Hostomice, pours a deep dark brown with a large beige head. Aroma brings out crusty bready malt, toasted nuts, and dry caramel. Flavour is rich and malty, with dry toasted caramel, bready malt, some toasted nuts, and dried dark fruits. Rich maltiness for the style. Really nicely brewed.

On tap at Hostomice, pours a clear bright golden with a large white head. Aroma brings out grassy hops, straw, and crunchy grainy notes. Flavour is crisp, with a nice lively spicy hop character, grass, straw and crackery malt. Bright, biting and crisp. Doesn't get much better than this insofar as Czech pilsners go.

On tap at Hostomice, pours a clear bright golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out soft cereal grains, straw and some grassy hops. Flavour brings out an earthy, drier grassy hop character, with straw and crunchy grains. Bitter, biting and earthy. It's certainly good but I prefer the 12 by quite a bit.

On tap at Hostomice, pours a clear bright golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out straw, lightly sweet biscuity malt and restrained grassy hops. Flavour is dry, with crisp biscuity malt, straw, dry grains, and grassy hops. Crisp, biscuity and dry, but as hoppy as 12. Good.

20/VII/22 - on tap @ post-Dylan & Amina’s wedding drink @ Beerlovers Bar (Antwerp), BB: n/a (2022-901)
Pretty clear blond yellow beer, creamy dense white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very malty, grains, cow fodder, very malty. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very malty, grains, very bitter, dry, grassy. Aftertaste: very malty, grains, cow fodder, very bitter and resinous. Not bad, not the best...

--Canned, thanks Marko! -Clear golden, firm mid sized head. Rich aroma of hay and bergamott. Mid dry with solid body and well rounded mouthfeel. Bready malt, lots of hay and tea. Long bitter finish. Excellent Czech lager, on the heavy and hoppy side.

0.5L can, pours a clear bright orange with a small white head. Aroma is full of caramel, bready malt, and a bit of herbaceous character. Flavour is drier, with bready malt, toasted caramel, and fresh herbaceous notes. Bready, toasted caramel on the finish. Pleasant enough but nothing special.
