Short gushing out of the 0,25 l bottle. Cloudy dark amber with a small short living head. Taste starts dry wine fruity with peppermint and orange. Taste has also orange, wine elements, barrel wood and peppermint. Hints of cough drops. All in a smooth balanced way. Less alcoholic. Nice stuff.

Dark brown, massive lasting head that is impressive for a Bock, very fruity citrus nose like a black IPA. Very interesting flavor, lingering peach/apricot citrus background with a refreshingly dry palate for a Bock. Really nice, indeed more like a roasty-toasty black IPA / Schwarzbier hybrid. Dangerous, as it doesn't feel like almost eight percent.

Aus der Flasche (bbe 31.01.2025) im 2023-03 getrunken. Dieses Hopfen-Bock hat eine sehr spannende, beige Schaumkrohne wo sich große Blasen bilden und dann Krater entstehen. Es sieht wie eine Mondlandschaft aus. Am Gaumen ist den Name klar Programm. Wobei die deutlichen harzigen Hopfennoten von Karamell- und Röstaromen abvgerundet werden. Auch wenn diese Bock sehr harmonisch ist, mag ich diese harzigen Hopfenaromane gar nicht. Daher ist meine Fazit gut gemachtes Bock und tolle Interpretation, aber leider auch nicht mein Ding!

Very crisp Pils with nice noble hops. Golden pour with decent head. Very crisp finish. Nice stuff. Can from Advent calendar.
