500ml bottle [as Brauns Achhörnla]. Clear, copper-ish, brown colour with small, thick, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Slightly nutty, caramel malty aroma, minimally piney, hoppy overtones. Taste is minimally sweet, nutty malty, piney hoppy overtones; smooth, soft and silky palate, minimally watery passages.

"Brauns Achhörnla" von der Brauerei Eichhorn, Flasche von Fränky, Forchheim. - Tiefes Kastanienrotbraun, klar. - In der Nase sattes dunkles Malz mit Karamel und milder Hopfenherbe im Hintergrund. - Antrunk aromatisch dunkelmalzig mit dunkler Brotkruste, Anklängen an Mokka und Nuß, abgeschmeckt mit zart säuerlicher Frucht. Kaum süß. Milder rezent, leicht trocken. Im Abgang dunkelmalzbitter mit leichter aber aromatischer hopfenwürzig-kräuteriger Herbe und etwas Moos. - Sehr schönes Dunkles, kaum süß, angenehm malzig-trocken und dezent aber stimmig gehopft.

Weicher, getreidig herber Beginn mit geringer Malzigkeit. Süffig, minimal metallern, was aber sofort wieder verschwindet. Süffig bleibend, fein malzig, quasi keine Hopfigkeit. Okay! 8/10/9/9/8/9

500ml Bottle - Copper in colour with some orangey tinges. Chestnuts, toffee and malt in the aroma. Nutty and malty taste with notes of chestnuts and a hint of chocolate.

Tap at Franken Fest 2017, Rome-Italy. Hazy-almost cloudy golden pour, frothy white head. Nose: a very balanced mix of malts and noble hops, really nice. Mouth is a bit honey, crispy, crackers, medium bitterness. Yes! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
