(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond medium-sized frothy head. Mildly strawy malty, slightly sweaty aroma with herbal hoppy spice. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly biscuity malty base with hints of cereals, backed by herbal-spicy and delicately grassy hops; rounded bitter-sweet finish with mildly herbal hoppy spice. Solid southern Pils. 24.III.17

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond and short frothy head. Slightly strawy malty aroma with notes of cereals and shades of herbal and slightly grassy hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a mildly prickly carbonation. Initially sweet malty and mildly grainy with herbal hoppy spice tuning in from the middle part, giving the right balance towards the finish. Good. 24.III.17

Bottle. Clear golden color with small white head. Aroma is green apples, straw, cardboard. Taste is green apples, cardboard, paper. Low carbonation, mineralic finish. Very, very unimpressive.

Clear golden with little white head. Aroma is green apple, chalky herbs, some toasty malts. Taste is fruity sweetness, some chalky sour stuff. Medium finish, medium heavy, not so drinkable. Still ok.

Draft at the brewery during the Bamberg Jolly of January 2014. Pours clear, dark gold with a foamy, off-white head. Solid low octane dunkel. Pleasant notes of toasted bread, light tin, leaves, brown sugar. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish with further notes of toasted bread and mellow brown sugar. Nice.

Draft at the brewery during day 2 of the Bamberg Jolly of January 2014. Pours clear gold, effervescent, with a frothy white head. Great stuff. Some sugary cereals, white bread, light hay, lemon meringue. Light bodied with average carbonation. Moderately clean on the finish, with continuing sweet cereal, a little bitter hay. Lovely, easy-drinking beer, although a bit basic.

Light sweet flavor with more rich cereal character, slight bitter straw for balance. Light in body with average carbonation. Biscuity finish, with further cereal. Nice lager.

As Eichhorn Anna-Festbier Pours a deep golden color. Malty aroma, bready, some toffee, minimal cardboard. Medium body. Well-rounded mouthfeel, nice balance.
