Heller, weich herber Antrunk. Getreidig, zunehmend malzig, harmonisch. Noten von Karamell, dann trockener werdend, die Herbe bleibt dominant. Spritzig, gut. 10/9/9/9/10/9

(bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a blond and firm foamy head. Malty, slightly mineralic aroma with traces of caramel and a tinge of herbal hops. Mildly bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Slightly doughy malty taste with yeasty and herbal hoppy spice, accompanied by shades of caramel; moderately dry and mildly hop bitter finish with herbal accents. Not perfectly rounded, just drinkable. 24.XI.16

Bottle bought @ Landbierparadies. Pours hazy reddish brownish golden with a frothy offwhite head that leaves a small trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is slightly malty, slightly fruity and tiny spicy with white bread, crackers, unripe banana, red pears, hay, dry soil, cloves and lemon peal. Taste is tiny sweet, slightly bitter, very tiny sour, slightly malty, slightly fruity and tiny spicy. Mouthfeel is soft, slightly dry, tiny astringent, very tiny tart and medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and very tiny sour with white bread malts, red pears and cloves. Solid weisse. Prefer less pears and more banana. --- Beer merged from original tick of Karpfen Weisse on 13 Apr 2016 at 18:37 - Score: 7. Original review text: Tasting @ Work. Heavy banana clove nose. Fairly dry and red pear heavy in the mouth. Soild!

Small head, soon reduced to rim over clear copper beer. Sweet, corn nose, malts, slightly parsley or herbs. Sweet-malty, faintly toasted; Light body, empty. Not very festive in my book.

Dark copper beer under an amberish, dense off-white head. Nutty, leafy (maybe a tad oxydation), melanoidin malts; Light-sweet taste, bready and leafy, but slightly dull. Light body, bit empty. Aftertaste is sweeter, bready. Strange - starts really dull, grows.

500ml Bottle - Hazy amber with a small head. Peach, sultanas, toffee and dried bananas in the aroma. Toffee, peach, sultanas, banana, dried apricot and some spicy notes feature in the refreshing and relatively full-bodied taste. Enjoyable stuff.
