Bottle, thanks Fin&Loz. Red brown, low head. Cigar, cedar, light fruit, medium full dry, chewy, nice juicy roast, berry, lovely.

Bottled 500ml. -at Ambasada Zagreb. Hazy orange coloured, small to medium sized off-white head, pleasant wheaty nose. Sweetish malty, wheaty, mild yeasty, banana and mild fruity with discreet touch of spices in the finish.

Bottle picked up from Sulzberger Bierhaus, Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm, and consumed Saturday 8th April 2023, had this back at Frank after an almost 60km cycle ride from Biberbach-Ulm-Biberbach listening to Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show on 6Music, we had Shepherds Pie for tea. Pours dark reddish brown, very clear, the head disappeared rapidly. A little bit sweet with a diluted toffee taste, drinks easier than an 8% beer should, but really all told I'm a tad disappointed, it's fine but I'm not overly excited, in fact the Augustiner Weisse beer that I had and which I've had 100's of times before really showed this up.

500 ml bottle. Cloudy dark yellow orange with a creamy head. Buttery notes, vanilla, biscuits, cake, zesty citrussy hops, resin, bitter herbs, slightly metallic, grassy, grain, hay, grapefruit blood orange zest. Intense hoppy bitterness, some grainy sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively to soft carbonated, hoppy zesty buttery finish. Excellent stuff, Bohemian Pilsner??

Bottled 500ml. -at Ambasada Zagreb. Darker golden coloured, small to medium sized white head, malty nose. Malty, grainy, light caramel and touch of herbs with mild nutty touch in the finish.

Thuisbrunner Elch 1.21 Gigawatt, Flasche von Grabsch. - Schwarzbraun, klar; enttäuschend schaumlos. - In der Nase verhaltenes aber mächtiges Röstmalz, Mokka, Bitterkakao, zarte fruchtige Säure, etwas Zitronat, Kräuter. - Antrunk intensiv röstmalzig und satt karamelsüß, kaffeebitter, sehr glatt. Feine Zitrone, ein wenig Asche; sehr milde herbale Hintergrundhopfung. Wenig rezent, annähernd vollmundig aber ohne die sortentypische wuchtige Schwere. Im Abgang fein röstmalzbitter und nur dezent hopfenwürzig herb. - Für einen Doppelbock beinahe schlank, zwar kräftig röstmalzig aber auch ziemlich süß, dazu nur sparsam gehopft, wirkt dieser Bock doch etwas lahm. Very hazy amber colour, creamy white foam. Lots of banana, some citrus, yeasty, sweet, light tart, very well balanced. Great Hefeweizen.

Bottle from Geers, hazy brown colour, white foam. Lovely roasty, notes of bread crust, caramel, some chocolate. Bitter, roasty and sweet, easy drinkable. Very good Dunkles Bier.

Bottle from Geers. Hazy golden colour, creamy white foam. Nose of citrus, hops, some cereals. Taste is light sweet, nice bitter hoppy finish. Great pilsner.
