On tap at the brewery, Hopfenhöcker, Munich in the company of Lynn and Barry, Saturday 30th March 2019. Pours brown with a ruby glint and a light tan head. Soft in the mouth, tangy with tartness, some dark fruits and berries combine, dry finish. Good.

Aroma is ham slight melasses honey and soy. Taste is sweet malt with smooth umami soy sauce and light ham. Drinkable. Pretty good.

Murky brownish. Aroma is caramel, bonbon, dried apricot, a little herbal. Taste is harsh alcoholic body with a little sweetness and a tiny bit herbal hops above. Not really drinkable though.

33cl bottle. A slightly hazy orange golden beer. Aroma of sweet caramelized malt, cinnamon, bread. Taste of moderate bitter hops, orange fruits, resins, caramelized malt.

Bottle. Cloudy/murky brown, low offwhite head. Sweet fruity aroma, orangepeel, citric. Medium light mellow body. Fruity, melanoidin, lightly meaty orangepeel, a bit dusty.

Bottle. Rather clear amber color with soapy grey head. Aroma is caramel, orange peel, a touch earthy hops. Taste is caramel, orange peel, earthy, a tiny touch chili maybe. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Alright!

Flascherl: Deep amber coloured with a ruby sheen, visible carbonation, stable medium-sized off-white head, moderate bitter-sweet nose of dried fruits and dark malt with traces of molasses and chocolate; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, a bit fizzy; lingering bitter-sweet dark-malty finish with traces of cacao. Tap. Cloudy dark red amber, golden foam. Nice fresh hoppy nose on a broad berry and herb aroma. Medium body, mellow, sparkly chewy, good juicy berry, caramel, light bready with a good citric and grassy counterpoint. Very nice juicy Rotbier.

Tap. Hazy amber-ruby color with creamy beige head. Aroma is very flowery, berry hops, tropical fruits, light caramel. Taste is berries, caramel, super juicy and also flowery. Full-bodied silky mouthfeel with smooth foamy-ish carbonation. Good one!
