Ein klassisches, schönes bayrisches Lagerbier, das absolut nix mit der belgischen Karmelit-Brauerei zu tun hat. Es ist goldgelb und hat eine feine Schaumkrone, bleibt sonst aber auf der leichten Lagerbierlinie.

Onto the beer, it pours gold, excellent clarity, small to mid sized white head. A little cereal and all told tastes a little boring and very commercial, btw I have absolutely no idea about this beer, don't really know the brewery or whether they are big or small. Some sweetness, a little bite This is one of those beers that you'd drink at a party by the gallon without taking any notice, it's completely inoffensive but at the same time stifled by being completely boring.

Bottle picked up from Getränke Ludwig Endres, Landau an der Isar and had this at home Saturday 28th January 2023, listening to Craig Charles Funk and Soul show on 6 Music, we had a Chicken Tikka Masala Curry with homemade Onion Bhajis and homemade Garlic and Chilli Nan breads and Raita. Pours light/mid gold, excellent clarity with a white head, nice gentle carbonation, ok but light hoppiness, a steady maltiness, however lacks a little bite and character.

Bottled (from S-Market Gerby). Yellowish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is grassy, sweet malts, some mild grains and some herbal tones. Flavour is herbal, some sweet malts, mild grass and mild bitterness too.

Bottled (from Alko). Hazy golden colour, small white head. Aroma is wheat, some alcohol, mild toffee and some slight spicy yeast to it. Flavour is fruity, floral, some alcohol, mild toffee and some slight caramel tones. Crisp carbonation, otherwise quite a nice one.

Bottled (with Mats). Hazy golden colour, small white head. Aroma is wheat, bananas, some toffee and mild yeasty tones. Flavour is wheat, citrus, bananas, some yeast and mild tartish wooden tones. OK, but nothing that special. Could do with more tartness or then some more sweetness, but remains a bit boring as is.

Bottled (Alko Web). Clear golden colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some honey, a bit grains and herbs. Flavour is grass, some sweet malts, herbs as well as some toffee. Once it warms up the maltiness turns rather honeylike.

Bei einem Pensionisten-Busausflug nach Straubing in einem Supermarkt gefunden. Dort fällt es gleich durch die niedliche 0,25l-Flasche auf. Es it ein nettes bayrisches Helles, das sich gemütlich trinken lässt. Auch wenn es nicht die großen kreativen Aromen hat, so hat es mir doch eine süffige Freude gemacht.

Bottled (from Alko web). Deep amber colour, mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is dried fruits, alcohol, some sweet floral tones with a wee bit of alcohol. Flavour is sweet malts, mild grains, some sweet malts along with some slight bitterness. Tasty but a bit too simplistic.
