Description
The Brewery was founded in 1367. The brewery has been family-owned since 1879. The owners still maintain the old brewing tradition and the warm hospitality of the Carmelite monastery. The lively mix of yesterday and today, old and new, is increasingly being demanded and valued beyond the borders of our homeland. Carefully selected raw materials, old recipes and the best possible maturation times are the basis for the excellent taste and digestibility of our beer specialties. A high level of craftsmanship and the use of the latest technology guarantee the consistently high quality.

Draught, as Klosterbräu Hell. Citric apple aroma and flavour. Not too bad, but not good either. Golden colour, small white head.

(bottle) Clear golden colour with a lacy foamy white medium head. Dense worty malty and herbal hoppy nose with honey. Clean and rounded Helles with balanced hops and malts, but also pretty boring.

Bottled. Nut brown. Woody nose. Clean maltiness and velvetty mouthfeel. Mild and very blananced with intriguing oaky flavour.
