Description
The Brewery was founded in 1367. The brewery has been family-owned since 1879. The owners still maintain the old brewing tradition and the warm hospitality of the Carmelite monastery. The lively mix of yesterday and today, old and new, is increasingly being demanded and valued beyond the borders of our homeland. Carefully selected raw materials, old recipes and the best possible maturation times are the basis for the excellent taste and digestibility of our beer specialties. A high level of craftsmanship and the use of the latest technology guarantee the consistently high quality.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. moderate malty and hoppy aroma. moderate bitter caramellic flaor. Average moderate bitter finish. creamy palate. nice.

Bottle.Dark copper colour with medium head.Aroma of nuts and caramel,slight bready and tosted with medium body and malty mouthfeels,slight thin body and malty mild finish.

Inte riktigt min typ av öl. Jag finner ingen riktig karktär eller riktning och vet inte vad jag ska smaka efter. För söt för min smak.

On tap, Schneider Weisses Brauhaus, Munich. I think it is a schwarzbier rather than a dunkel. Aroma of nuts, cereal, hay, bread. I could bite to it. Roasty malts and coffee notes, really complex, just a bit watery texture. Good one.

Bottle from SB cons 2012-03-12 Göteborg Ar: chocolate powder, nutmeg Ap: brownish ruby body, 1 cm high fizzy creme beige head F: fizzy, sour caramel, figs, round filling body, medium bitterness, bread, raw fruit - dosen’t make me too happy!

Würzig herber Antrunk. Anschließend ist das Bier leicht getreidig, die Aromen aus dem Antrunk bleiben erhalten und steigern sich dann. Leider wird das süßliche Bier zum Ende wässrig. Süß-herber, wenig dumpfer Abgang. 8/9/11/8/8/8

Wässrig malziger Beginn. Trocken, wenig getreidig. Laff, wenig aromatisch. Zum Ende würziger, es bleibt aber viel zu mild. Nicht wirklich gut. 9/7/8/6/9/6

Wässrig herber Beginn, grasige Beinoten. Schnell wird das Bier bitterer, etwas trocken und muffig. Später weicher, hopfig, etwas süß. Trinkbar – aber nicht wirklich gut. 9/7/7/9/8/7

Herber, wenig säuerlicher Beginn mit konstanter dunkler Malzigkeit. Wässrig, trocken bitter. Zum Ende dazu säuerlich. Wie das helle Weizen eindimensional. 8/7/6/8/8/7

Hefiger, etwas trockener Antrunk. Geringe Süße, dann wieder trocken, wenig malzig-bitter. Trocken bitterer Ausklang. Ein eindimensionales Weizen. 13/6/6/5/7/6
