Bottle. A clear, golden beer topped by a decent, white head. Very bready, grainy nose with some fruity hints. The flavor is quite grainy, bready and fruity, with something cloying towards the end. Medium to thin on the palate. Nice bitterness in the end. Not the worst alcohol free beer I’ve had, but I’d like to see it without that cloying, almost sickingly touch in the flavor. 120624

Bottled:
The color is clear, dark amber. The fluffy foam sinks rather quickly. The aroma is sweet and malty with a large element of over-ripe berries. It tastes very sweet of caramel, brown sugar and dark fruit. Sweet and boozy finish. An ok Doppelbock, but there are better ones out there.
