On tap at the brewery 15th November 2024 on our between days birthdays. Pours mid amber with a large white head. Taste and first impression of the hoppiness is a little 'wishy washy' and aroma similar. There is a bitterness here which picks up. Easier drinking than 6.5%. Light fruitiness. Fine.

On tap at the brewery 15th November 2024 on our between days birthdays. Pours black with a creamy thick head. Aroma and taste initially a little bit sour, I questioned someone who actually might have been involved in the brewery and they immediately without missing a beat indicated that it was meant to be like this, he was completely unsurprised. It's tangy and tart, for me the tart edge eclipses any barrel ageing elements (though TBF this is probably the reason for the sourness) light roastiness. I am not convinced that this is anything but an experiment in barrel ageing that went wrong but maybe I'm wrong.

On tap at the brewpub, Regensburg Wednesday 18th October 2023. Pours hazy yellow gold with a clingy white head, soft mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Understated hoppiness, a little soapy hoppiness, finish is dry. Simple but well executed Pils, had better but also had much worse, would be quite drinking a few of these.

Hopfenblume, vom Faß im Brauhaus am Schloss in Regensburg (zu Schweinebraten mit Reiberknödel). - Helles Goldbraun, trüb. - In der Nase Hefe, leicht brotiges helles Malz und mild-süße zitronige Hopfung mit leisen exotischen Zügen. - Antrunk sahnig weich, satt hellmalzig und durchaus aromatisch hopfenherb mit weicher Zitrusfrucht mit tropischen Zügen. Satte Restsüße. Nur mild rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang runde, aromatisch zitrusfruchtige Hopfenherbe. - Satt malzig und sehr aromatisch gehopft aber alles andere als ein erfrischendes Pils, was es laut Speisekarte sein soll. Dennoch sehr angenehm. (29.7.2023.)

Golden pour with a red tint, decent white head. Aromas of grain, some toast, toffee/caramel, similar for the taste. It was ok, but the taste was a bit weak for a Festbier.

Amber/golden/orange pour. Aromas of banana, wheat bread, some yeast and cream (?). Tastes of banana, cloves, wheat, bread, some yeast and cream/milk. Quite nice.

Tap at the brewery. Bright, plae gold, cloudy, with an airy head. Very lemony, with biscuit, clove, butter note. Sweet and citrusy flavor, flakey biscuits, some cream / butter, clove, touch of banana. Crisp, light body.

Tap at the brewery. Bright, cloudy, pale golden color, pear to pastel. High, airy head. Bubbles on the glass. Worty nose, lemon, orange, biscuits and yeast. Lemony hop flavor, bready malts, white bread, peppery, yeast. Oily body with low carbonation. Just a bit pasty from the yeast but otherwise good.

On tap at the brewery. Lightly hazy, brilliant gold with a high, pillowy head. Bright herbal hop nose, crackery malt, apples. Lemony, herbal flavor, spicy, crisp hops, cleam malt, nice peppery bitterness. There is just a bit of acetaldahyde, though, which gets in the way, otherwise very nice.
