MBCC. Black with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate and bourbon. Flavor is very sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish with lots of warming alcohol. Oily, soft and a bit boozy. 230525

On tap at MBCC 2025, yellow session. Pours black with a beige head. Roasted malts, tequila barrels on the nose. Flavour has tons of rich roasted malts and bourbon barrels, some dark molasses. Excellent.

On tap at Mikkeller & Friends, pours jet black, tiny head. Aroma has intense coconut, vanilla, and bourbon barrels in wonderful cohesion. Flavour is super rich, with intense coconut, vanilla beans, big bourbon notes, and dark sugars. Super intense and yet still cohesive. Epic.

On tap at Mikkeller & Friends, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma is full of rich pistachios, dark sugars, moderate roast, and bourbon barrels. Flavour is less obviously expressive of the pistachios, with dark sugars, moderate roast, and some bourbon barrels. The nuts are much more aromatic; the flavour is more just great dark malts, sugars, and barrels. Excellent.

On tap at Mikkeller & Friends, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of oniony hops, some citrus, light pine, and a touch of melon. Flavour is crisp, with bitter piney hops, light citrus peel, and crisp biscuity malt. Piney, melony finish. Good albeit not as refined as it could be.
