Hazy blond colour. Strong straw aroma, to the point that it's almost smokey. Dry mouthfeel, weak, smooth; little flavour, some hay, suprisingly not much skunk. Possibly best beer from Best Korea.

500mL bottle, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma is very skunky, with lots of skunky cabbage and detergent. Flavour is disgusting, with tons of skunk cabbage and detergent. Utterly vile.

Purchased in Dandong. Bright golden colour. Medium head, nice bubbles. Mostly grassy. Light body, skunky, bit of grassy hop. Not any worse or better than any other of the #2s.

Bottle, many thanks Claude! Clear pale yellow color with white head. Aroma is cereals, grains, lightstruck, cardboard, sweet stuff. Taste is cardboard, sweet grains, oxidized. Sweet aftertaste, fizzy carbonation. Could be worse.

On tap at Taedonggang #3 bar. Cloudy, has a light tan, thick head, light banana nose, there’s some sewagey funk in there but mostly yeast. Sour, light banana. Optimistically a touch of wheat character. Others liked this better than I did, on average.

Light brown, medium head, sort of a diacetyl note, sewagey. Sweet and sewagey. A lot of issues with fermentation. Caramel. Even without faults it’s missing the dark malt complexity.
