As Is: pours lightly hazy gold with a white head. Floral aroma with a little unfermented hoppiness. Taste is lightly bitter with standard cardboardy taste.

Hops are a little bolder, a little more bitter, and a little more carbonated.

16 ounce can. Number one with a bullet. Deep orange gold pour. Frothy yellow-white head. Robust malty aroma hints at caramel and oak honey. Flavor is sweet malt and herbal hops. Clean, crisp and flavorful. A splendid representation of the Heller Bock style.

Can, hazy pale looks like hazy IPA. It also smells like a good IPA, strong notes of crisp clean freshly cut pine. First big guffy gulp is like a milder IPA as well, its not of that session veggie thing, its actually like a fresh simple IPA. Some industrial bitter bite sets in during the middle. Co2 is ok, has a pretty good level of co2. Yes, in the end this is a simple light IPA. I've had IPA that were less bitter than this by far, so it seems to stand up to the more hoppy end of the APA style, that is, if it actually is an APA.

Can, slightly hazy like lemonade but has a kraggy head. Nose is slight BO on a mild hop perfume backdrop. Taste is strong, but not like 7%! Yes, bitter IPA. But I must say, I've had APA that were stronger than this. Some co2 that avoids the mouthcoating character. Maybe its because I just came in from yardwork, who knows? Anyway, its a welcome addition to my mine numbness, thanks IA, and that don't mean intelligence artificial, hehehehh.

$2 can from vintage. Wow, this stuff makes a big thick foamy nitro-like off white head that lasts and then goes craggy. Maybe its because I dropped the can a couple of hours ago? hehehh. The eye is almost light pale milkshake IPA. Must say, its a nice pour! Nose is freshly cut green sappy pine cones. Taste is big fat bitter hops, whew, it coats yer mouth. There is this sense of immediately ruining my poor girlie lager loven palate, blast. Crappity, son of a monkey, bitchy, bloody bugger. Pine tar and crackers, holy cow shit, bollocks, frack, pissed barnacles. Having a real difficult time with this terribly on style mess. I better wait after I finish this because, any other beer I taste will come across like tasteless soda water. BTW, will somebody get me a glass bottle screw top quart of cheap pale lager in a paper bag to chase this with? Just asking. Another positive thing about this is its 10%, and that will ease my brain of the impact of this wrench. There, you have it.

Draft at Maloney's, 4/5/25. Clear gold, white head, strong, streaky lacework. Herbal, grassy, pine, resin. Punchy. Medium body. Soft carbonation. Dry finish. Plenty of flavor. Nicely done.

Fruity and juicy with ripe mango and tangerine, some grapefruit, pine needles and some hop spice, tingling carbonation and medium body, soft malts, solid restrained bitter hoppy finish. Good, easy going and drinks well.
