Deep blond color, cloudy, with compact head. It actually has a pickle aroma, dill, dust. The mouthfeel is a bit oily; herbal and spicy flavor, cilantro, a touch of anise; smoother final, where the IPA plays a better role than in the other herbs versions, resiny, orangey; stronger alcohol feeling.
Pretty nice, although weird.

Cloudy blond color.
Very nice and summery mint aroma, with some lime. Dry, smooth, with nice delicate malt flavor, lime peel bitterness, and moderate mint. Quite strong bitterness.
Very interesting.

Color is almost black. smell of coffee grounds, not exciting. Good body strength, lean mouthfeel; the chocolate wins over the coffee, and the moderate sweetness it’s a nice balance.
Pleasant.

Cask at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Dark brown color, near black, with small frothy head. It’s a good beer, soft, malty, a bit chocolatey, but the "herbs" add a medicinal touch that I don’t share (I’m not used to traditional root beers).
Well, it’s pleasant anyway. I would still pick this one before many others.

Hazy golden color with generous head. The orange dominates the aroma. Nice malt flavor, lean, with strong coriander and bitter orange character, enough fruity to be appreciated, and fairly bitter (from the orange peel); the absence of wheat seems to be an advantage.
Bold. Pleasant.

Generous compact persistent head. The aroma is spicy. Off-dry, with a mild but interesting malt and hop base, some lemon acidity, light lemon peel.
Original. Worth working on this experiment.

The lavender comes out beautifully in the aroma, reminiscent of cakes and cookies; the flavor too is cake-like, some vanilla, a solid and clean IPA base, and the lavender.
Very nice.

Cloudy red color with persistent compact head. Nice aroma, sourish, a bit fruity, some pedio. Soft mouthfeel, almost mellow, not as dry and weak as other Berliner Weisse, with mild fruity and sour presence.
Pleasant and balanced fruit beer.

Strong smoke aroma, although different from Rauchbier or Lapsang Suchong, a bit cardboard-like and meaty. Dry mouthfeel, not much beer flavor, it has some chili hot touch, some tea tannins, paper and some smoke. Dry finish.
Had high expectations, but it turned out to be messy and below expectations.

Based on the Scottish ale Hazy amber color with compact head. The aroma is mild, nothing special. But the flavor is more interesting, with delicate smoke, not much fruit, smooth mouthfeel, and correct bitterness.
Nice.
