12 fl. oz. can from the Beer Republic advent calendar. Yellow golden like orange juice in the glass, small one finger white head. Intensive grape, citrus and mango with yeast on the nose. Taste has a strong grape bitterness, sweet citrus in the background, yeasty. Little bit too rough imho.

Can. Pours hazy rich dark yellow with a large spongy off-white head that has a quite long retention, peach-citrus aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter citrus peel taste with peach flavor, thin body, long citrus peel finish. Balanced and tasty NEIPA.

Draught @ George Keeley, Manhattan (Oct 2023). Pours lightly cloudy dark yellow with a very small frothy off-white head that flops fast, faint grape-like aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter citrus-grape taste, thin body, long finish. I wasn't sure where to put it in style, but it's ok.

Undated can, sucks Sloop stopped dating their cans...drunk 12/7/23. Heavily hazy, bronze-brass-golden. Small-to-medium-sized, off-white head showing moderate retention. Nose is a lovely mix of spicy, floral, well-done (no garlic/onion/scallion) mosaic. Motueka adds its pleasant, tropical, lightly citrusy, lightly earthy, lightly spicy character. There's a deep, background sulfur/mineral character, soft, biscuity, honey-tinged maltiness and a clean, resin and alcohol-free finish. Soft, earthy, mineral rich, raw and funky with tons of complex spice, a melange of fruits ranging from apple, pear, guava, and kumquat, to light grapefruit and light white grape. Incredibly spicy, yet not acidic or punchy in any way. When a Bomb is on, it's jaw-dropping.

Can drunk after reading 60's bedtime stories where Hilda Hippo eats her way through the alphabet. Yellow hazy, good head, fruity nose with pomelo, lychee, pineapple. Indeed it lives up to the name super soft, body is a bit thin and pillowy, a wee bit of pine coming later. There's something missing somehow, but it's very crushable.

Undated can fresh off the shelf, drunk 11/10/23. Dark milk chocolate. Large, dark beige head showing good retention. Nose has a hint of oxidation or maybe it's some mix of lactose and caramel malt. Bit of roast, though it's mild. Chocolatey, light vanilla. Pretty standard, clean stout flavors without any coconut and no real noticeable lactose. Soft, medium-bodied with a bit of sweet heft on the finish but otherwise nicely attenuated with no coconut and no lactose. Oats give a soft, chewy texture, as well. Clean, straightforward, well-done stout.

Can, from Trader Joes, Manhattan. Pours hazy dark yellow with a small frothy off-white head, sharp citrus-coriander aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter mildly salty taste with grapefruit, coriander, ginger flavor, thin smooth body, long bitter finish. I don't know how Jagermeister tastes but this is quite flavorful.

Can picked up at Kihoskh and drunk at home (27/10/2023) - Bitter grassy hoppy, sweet lightly toasted malts, cereal, wheat, crisp on the palate, bitter hoppy finish. Great stuff from these guys again.
