Draught @ Albion. Murky dark brown with very small frothy beige head that disappeared while I was writing this, very faint coffee aroma, low carbonation, slightly sweet roasted coffee beans taste, thin body, bery flat abrupt finish with little aftertaste. Not a great sweet stout, unfortunately.

The Sampler, Brooklyn: pours clear gold with a white head. Aroma is light tropical fruits with hints of pine. Taste is light bitter. Fruity. Super smooth body. Really easy and soft. Nice.

A deep dark stout with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with light nutty notes, coffee, light marshmallow, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with light berries, cherries, light vanilla, light powdery character, nice and pleasant. On tap at Maggie’s on the River.

Draft at Cooper's, Chelsea. Mostly clear golden pour with heavy lacing on the glass. Pine and mango, some grass, and herbal notes. Clean, and a little sweet. Very clean, crisp, and light, but not watery. Soft and a little dry. Really liked the mouthfeel on this one. Nice beer.

Bottle split at Chris & Ruth’s pre GBBF Shindig, 07/08/16. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is peach esters, tangy melon, apricot jam, straw, grass, light floral. Taste not as intense as the nose comprising peach yoghurt, lemon rind, soft wood, tropical fruit sprinkle. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a gentle puckering bite. Nice easy drinker ... a refreshing ’Linner.
