Crystal clear golden coloured body with a honey glow, a ridiculously thick five centimetre tall pure white head and literally millions of small bubbles rising from the bottom. Aroma of alcohol, yeast, brett (crazy), must, white grapes, sugar and some light earthy notes - interestingly enough, not much hops at all. Light-bodied; Sharp yeast and earthy flavour with some light sugars from fruit, a bit of musty and cardboard flavours and that hint of brettynomics trying to come through. Aftertaste shows some complexity with a bit of yeast and earthy malt, a little sweetness and a very herbal and grassy finish. Overall, a light but interesting beer with some good flavours and quite the complexity for the style. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Half Time in Poughkeepsie, New York on 26-December-2012 for US$5.99 sampled at home in Washington on 27-July-2013.

Bottle shared at a sour tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Murky yellow with grey hues. Great sour peaches aroma with yogurt. Very pleasant sourish flavor, lactic, with lots of peaches. Spritzy, lively-carbonated. Really good and refreshing. 8/3/8/4/16=3.9

Super hazy bright gold colour body with a thin white head. Aroma of sour yeast, a touch of grapes, a lot of corn and the faintest hint of peaches. Light-bodied; Assertive lemony and sour yeast notes with a hint of bread and grapes. Very nice and light with a good sour note and a lot of refreshing flavours. Aftertaste shows a lot of light peach notes, some lemons and a lot of sour yeast notes - very nice and true to the style. Overall, a very good representation of the style and a reminder to the great beers of Berlin - minus the straw and syrups. Definitely worth trying, if you can find it and especially if you can drink it in the summer! I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Half-Time in Poughkeepsie, New York on 30-December-2012 for US$9.49 sampled at home in Washington on 01-July-2013 on a super hot day here in the South, perfect for this style.

Bottle shared by Jay at tasting at my house. Pours muddy brown. Nose and taste of Ludens cherry, sour oak and very light vinegar tartness. Most of the sour comes from the cherry itself. Earthy and organic. Medium body.

Bomber from Half Time. Pours light amber/gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is very lightly roasted malt with some spice. Med + body til the carb froths away. Flavor is bready, maybe nutty, with some grassy/earthy/herbal/spicy. Sort of renders the mouth earthy. Not like mushroom tho. Pretty interesting flavor. Finishes dry and grassy/earthy/herbal/spicy. :)

Bomber from Half Time. Pours clear ruddy copper with a creamy off-white head. Aroma of citrus and tropical fruit. Med + body. Flavor is citrus, tropical fruit and some fairly roasted malt. IPA? Heavily hopped amber? Who can tell. Fricking supercalafragalisticexpialodocius flavor - or close thereto. If you can get it , get it.
