Unclear golden with a fluffy head. Floral hops, butter, vanilla, lemon, grain, hay, lactose, hints of resin and herbal hops. Fruity grainy sweetness, dry hoppy bitterness, light bodied, creamy texture, soft carbonated, dry grainy floral fruity zesty bittersweet finish. What a nice summery lager, tasty, crafty, yet very Franconian.

Hazy gold with a frothy, white head. Dank, cellar-like aroma with lots of dough and a good dose of spice. Taste is mildly bitter, mildly sweet and largely empty. Finishes much the same. Lingering spice and soggy white bread. Body to the light side of medium, mild carbonation, watery texture. Drinkable and harmless without being all that enticing.

Dark copper with a foamy head of modest duration. Aroma promises Schwarzbrot with a good dose of caramel with a faint touch of prunes. Taste is mildly sweet up front, then immediately bitter, both grainy and moderate herbal. Lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, easygoing and quite drinkable. Good.

Dark copper with fizzy head. Aroma of grains, red currant jam, and caramel. Taste is bitter to bittersweet—ruined though by a fizzing, over-carbonated palate that’s too aggressive for the style, making further impressions futile. Medium bodied, mildly watery texture, to the dry side. Disappointing.

0,5 l bottle from kappldav123. Thanks a lot! BB 10.06.26. Clear darker golden in the glass with a more than one finger white foamy head in the glass. Looks good. Dry dark grainy aroma. Taste starts also shortly dry grainy followed by increasing caramel. Low fruity elements, soft bitterness to the end.
