Ratebeer Odense Lager After Easter Tasting. Golden with a lasting white head. Malty aroma with grassy hops. Sweetish malty flavour with fruity and grassy notes. Cardboard aftertaste.

50cl Bottle @ Franken. Served @ Ratebeer Odense Spring Tasting, 2023. Pours amber copper with a frothy white head. Toasted and dry. Caramel, bread. Medium bodied.

500 ml bottle. Unclear golden with a fluffy head. Buttery, citrussy, grassy, grainy, lemon. Dry zesty hoppy bitterness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry hoppy zesty bitter finish. Interesting take on a Wintermärzen, nicely warming and hoppy. Even a good beer for early spring.

Bottled. Yellowish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is sweet malts, mild grains some caramel and mild sweet floral and grassy notes. Flavour is grassy, some herbs, mild grains, sweet malts and some earth. Nice floral and grassy bitterness in aftertaste.

Fläschla: Clear (almost), golden, small white foamy layer, mild grainy and also a bit barnyardy nose, some hayish hops underneath; mild to moderate sweetish and even milder bitter flavour, hardly medium bodied, but pretty soft; shorter sweet and - again - mildly bitter finish. Yawn...

Bottle picked up from Sulzberger Bierhaus, Pffafenhofen an der Ilm and consumed at home Saturday 27th August 2022 listening to Working Men's Club - Fear, Fear and about to cook Junjaro (Kidney Bean Curry) from Made in India by Meera Sodha. Pours hazy yellowy colour with a nice lacing and huge white head, taste is a touch of vanilla custard, banana and so, lovely and creamy. Lovely softness in the mouth, wheatiness offers up a nice little tang. This is a great Hefeweizen.
