Nice red color in the light, and a good head with lacing. Not a lot going on in the flavor, however. Very little aroma and all. Flavor is malt and grain, sort of a brown ale. Sweet malt and I actually taste a little rye.

Got in a trade with The-Adjunct-Hippie. 12 ounce bottle into weizen glass, bottled on 8/27/2017. Pours moderately hazy golden orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big banana, bubblegum, clove, cinnamon, nutmeg, pepper, pear, apple, caramel, brown sugar, toasted biscuit, herbal, grass, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruit/spicy yeast, cinnamon, and dark/bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big banana, bubblegum, clove, cinnamon, nutmeg, pepper, pear, apple, caramel, brown sugar, toasted biscuit, herbal, grass, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Light herbal/grassy bitterness and yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of banana, bubblegum, clove, cinnamon, nutmeg, pepper, pear, apple, caramel, brown sugar, toasted biscuit, herbal, grass, and yeast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruit/spicy yeast, cinnamon, and dark/bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from bitter/spiciness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 8.14%. Overall this is an excellent spiced Weizenbock. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruit/spicy yeast, cinnamon, and dark/bready malt flavors;very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV. Perfectly balanced between all flavors, with a really great authentic German yeast profile going on. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

12oz bottle. Filtered copper-amber-brown body. Thin, oily off-white head. Straightforward Rye beer, pretty well done. Malt centered, medium to full bodied. Sweet caramel, brown sugar. Nice to see a classically minded feel, more than a gimmicky flavor of the month. Solid.

This seems to be a pretty straightforward rye ale, nothing too complex or out of the ordinary but decent. Aroma is mostly caramel malt with a little bit of rye. Flavor is similar to nose on the sweet side spicy and has enough carbonation to help balance. Body is okay but there is some boozy warmth.

The best thing here is the fresh hop aroma. Appearance is a clear golden amber with a sudsy head. Flavor is malt, hint of fruit, bitter, slight medicinal finish. Ok body. Overall, nothing special.

Hm, I have no idea what makes this in English style blonde ale. To me it's just a blonde ale nothing too special about it. It's not a bad beer, just an unremarkable drinkable beer.

Bottle thanks to Seth. Pours orange soda with small white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is apricot flesh, wheat, dough. Thin body, orange soda, wheat, nice tartness, very good.

Bottle split at RB Best Encomium share, Santa Rosa, 30/01/16 - Many Thanks ! Murky orange with no head - not a looker ! Nose is tarte citric peel, damp wood, straw, peach tang. Taste comprises peach youghurt, grains, wood must, funk, lemon drizzle. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow pucker. Ok.

Sampled at All Pints North, I have been looking for this one for years and I believe it was the first of their noble star beers. Red color. Great raspberry aroma and flavor, moderately tart and an appropriate amount of fruit sugar. Excellent.

4 oz. sample at El Bait Shop, De Moines, Iowa. Sour wheat base that shows lemons, yogurt, mild herbal hints and old grass clippings. I have never had a brew aged in Cypress tanks. Got to say.. it gives it a unique character against the sour wheat base. I like it because it was so different and it did taste nice. Would love to sample this again, simply because it is so different.
