Description
North Cotswold Brewery is a family-run craft brewery situated on the Fosseway a few miles outside Moreton in Marsh and Shipston on Stour. The brewery was established in 1999. Producing award winning “Fine Ales from the Fosse” the brewery has a core range of six beers: Windrush Ale, Moreton Mild, Cotswold Best, Green Man IPA, Shagweaver and Hung Drawn ‘n’ Portered. Our seasonal ales and special brews also prove very popular, giving our customers a wide range of ale styles and flavours to choose from.

Our passion is for brewing quality ales, the traditional way, using only the finest natural ingredients. Caring for our customers and consumers remains at the heart of everything we do.

Cask at the Gatehouse Tavern, Coventry on 29th October 2018. Golden amber with shallow white foam and scant lacing. Malty aroma. Fruity in-mouth and at the finish with some bitterness. Light body and mouthfeel.

24th Aug 2018, cask half-pint, gravity pour; 22nd Codsall Station Beer Festival. Clear golden body, white crown. The wheat comes through in both the aroma and taste, decent hop profile too, below the semi-sweet base.

Cask ale, half-pint at Bush Inn. A warm golden body, next to clear, under a stable white head. Clingy lacing down the glass. Herbal hops on the nose. Ripe fruit hoppy flavours with a touch of grain. Mid-dry fruity bitter endnotes. Medium to thin bodied. Fair enough. (Worcester 09.07.2018).

Half-pint, cask at Postal Order. Stable, patchy fawn-coloured head. Artworks on the glassware. Black in the glass. Roasted malty nose, hints of dark fruits. Malt-driven taste character of black chocolate, ash, and caramel, impacts of dark fruits. Mid-sweet ending, lightly roasted. Pretty nice. (Worcester 09.07.2018).
