About
We started brewing in 2011, in a small barn in the Cheshire countryside, with a simple goal of presenting our locality with delicious beer.

A lot has changed since then; we now brew an ever evolving variety of progressive cask beer alongside modern, vibrant beers in can & keg, we now ship our beer further afield, even to different countries, but our loyal audience in the North West keeps us busier than ever and as such we've grown our brewing capacity over time from 100 thousand to 2 million pints per year.

But more than a decade on we are still an independent brewer-owned brewery, passionately crafting beers from our inspiring & beautiful location. Driven by the same energy we have always had, to bring you an ever changing array of bold, vibrant & delicious beer.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A cloudy yellow pour with a billowing white head; lemon soda aroma; crisp lemony taste with a sweet body; then clean lemon and lime to finish. A pleasant citrusy NEIPA.

Hand-pulled pint at The Abbey, Shrewsbury on 8th May 2022. New hop to me, never heard of Talus before. Poured a clean light golden colour, snow white head. Citrus lead to both the nose and taste, grapefruit like esters and flavours to the fore and dominating the brew really. It was refreshing and ideal while sitting in the beer garden soaking up a few rays.

Hand-pulled pint at The Abbey, Shrewsbury on 8th May 2022. Can't remember the last time I came across a Best Bitter that was new to me, really pleased to find one. Anyway this was 4.0% and came a lovely clear amber colour with a lasting white head, nice blend of fruity hops and semi-sweet malts. Sat outside in the beer garden taking in the afternoon sun, lovely!

Cask at Hops, Crewe. Pours a golden yellow with a small white head. There’s a faint aroma of oranges and biscuits. In the mouth it is slightly sweet, with fruity hops to the fore alongside biscuits and caramel. Not much more to say about it really – it’s reasonable.

Keg at BD Oxford, 20/04/22 ... Wow ... A Collabfest beer lurking 6 months later! Clear orange with an off white cap that settles to a swirl. Nose is caramel, nutty, coffee cake, dried fruits. Taste comprises coffee bean, white chocolate, light spice, fruit rinds, caramel wafer. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a kiss of booze. Not bad for a white impy ... if a touch sweet as is the norm ... maybe this one has got better with age judging by the initial scores!
