Loch Lomond Brewery started life in our kitchen in Luss on the shores of Loch Lomond.

A desire to brew beer and create a family business that would allow the whole family to get involved we started in 2011 in Alexandria.

Now having brewed a number of award winning beers including CAMRA Champion Beer of Scotland in 2017 and SIBA Supreme Cask Champion of the UK in 2016, we have recently rebranded to include a number of new beers in cask, keg, bottle and can.

Still brewing on our original 10bbl kit our passion has not faded - in fact we are probably more fanatical now about our existing beers and new recipes than ever before.

50cl Bottle, thanks R&J! Slightly hazy amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of floral and light citrusy hops, caramel, hint of sludge. Flavour is likewise, light nutty, floral, caramel, decent bitter finish. Light bodied. Nice.

50cl Bottle, thanks R&J! Slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, light malty, lemon. Flavour is likewise, light sludgy yeast again, not much going on but solid and refreshing, a bit watery. Light bodied.

50cl Bottle, thanks R&J! Slightly hazy pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of dry dusty malts, light floral, citrus, light soapy, hoppy. Flavour is likewise, dry and floral, lemony hops, light sludgy yeast flavour, decent bitter finish. Light bodied. Could definitely drink a few of these.

Bottle shared in Lpndon during Scopey’s 10k - thanks to Scopey. Pours unclear orange with a creamy off-white head. Toasted bread in the nose, some citrus, earth. Light sweet flavor with bready malts, a little toffee, butterscotch, ripe orange. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish, with sugary bread, light toffee, mellow earthy bitterness. Fine.

Black colour, white head. Aroma of chocolate, caramel, coffee, quite sweet. Sweet flavour, coffee, light bitter. Light sweet finish, coffee, hint of brown sugar.

Nice easy drinkable stout.
Opaque black color with some subtle red notes. Fine foamy off white head. Good lacing. Dominating roasted, mild coffee and some chocolate. Lasting finish. Ok body and a soft smooth carbonation.

Cask at Grog and Gruel, Fort William. Thick and black with a thin tan head. Aroma is roasted malt and a little spice. Taste is chocolate, liquorice, and that spice again. Very nice

Cask @ Bon Accord. Clear light golden coloured with a thin white head. Nose is citric, light malty, some fruits. Flavour is light malted, citric, light hop bitterness. Very well drinkable and lots of flavours. Nice.

Cask @ 3 Judges. Clear golden colour, thin white head. Nose os light caramel malts, bit of toffee, bit of fruits. Flavour is biscuit malts, light lemonade, bit of fruits. Slightly sweet. Not much going on here.

Cask at cloisters. Pours deep amber, nose is sweet toffee, cereal, floral, little grassy, taste is sweet, dry toffee, light fruit.
