We are Pomona Island. We have a passion for innovation and style. We wake up each morning and strive each day to create te finest beers on the... Nah, can you imagine if we actually spoke like that? We're just beer snobs and over-appreciators who thought we would put our (small amount of) money where our (big) mouths are.

The Brewery is Nick and Ryan, who started the Gas Lamp bar in Manchester CIty Centre (where you can always find our beers!), Gaz from Marble Brewery and James from Tempest Brewery.

The beer is all stuff we like to drink. Loads of sessionable new world hoppy pales, more traditional stouts and porters. Big Juicy IPAs, and some fun experimental stuff to keep us and you interested.

Keg at the portobello tap. Pours deep brown, nose is liquorice, toffee, taste is sweet, roasted, liquorice.

Can from Honest Brew. Deep purple colour with pale purple head. Aroma and taste have tart berry to sour taste. Smooth fresh body.

Cask at ORB 2nd Birthday Beer Festival. Slightly hazy orangey gold colour, white foam head leaving lacing and aroma of tropical passionfruit, citrus hoppy. Taste is malt caramel with passionfruit, juicy orange, floral and resiny hop bitterness. Light bodied, soft carbonation, dry resiny bitter finish. Quite drinkable

Can at the Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Hazy orange pour with a white head. Lots of bitter citrus in the nose,light spice. Taste of bitter herb,sharp hop bite,more bitter citrus. Good.

Bottle from Eltham Wines, Eltham. Black pour with a tan head. Smoked meats in the nose, caramel, coffee,chocolate. Meaty, roasty flavours- coffee, dark chocolate, molasses. Complex tasty brew.

[ As Pomona Island Pale Vic Secret Amarillo ].
ABV: 3.8%. Unclear - hazy medium orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, fruity hops, peach. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity hops, wheat, pale malt, citrus, peach. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20190724]
