Founded in Summer 2018, Overtone Brewing Co. are progressively making a difference in the Scottish Craft beer scene and are being recognised globally, now exporting to 12 markets around the world.

Our adventure started with Bowei Wang, who's passion and hobby of home brewing led to the determination of owning his own brewery. He knows the influence great craft beer has when shared with friends, and that's exactly what we want Overtone to be.

On tap at Shilling. Appearance - cloudy orange. Thin head. Nose - dry and quite tight. Earthy and resin. Taste - biscuit and citrus. Apricot maybe. Palate - light bodied and creamy. Dry finish. Overall - not much nose but all well on the palate.

Tap. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is grassy, milky yeasts, a touch parmesan, also a bit muddled. Taste is grassy, milky yeasts. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Ok!

Can from Cork & Cask. Milky golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of melon, orange pith and grapefruit. Flavour of minerals, pineapple and bay leaf. Thin to medium body with a creamy texture. Soft fizz. Juicy and delicious.

Can from Lupe Pintos. Hazy amber body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of blood orange and honey. Flavour of Lockets and orange. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Quite basic and forgettable. This doesn’t reach the standards of the best Overtone beers I’ve had.
