Bottle thanks SinH4. Ester notes up front, apples. Cloudy brown, low brown head. Very dry, wood, roast notes, minerals, rest-sweetness was gobbled up by the beasties in the barrel I thjnk, the resulting fusel oils are too much for me.

Bottle courtesy of Marco Buraschi, many thanks! Aroma is hazelnuts, chocolate, coffee. Taste is more of the hazelnuts, chocolate and coffee, with a milky yeasty touch. Beautiful aroma, a bit too yeasty in the back. Silky mouthfeel, as always. Not bad, but has more potential than it uses.

Bottle, thanks sinh4! Dark brown almost black with little tan head. Aroma is hazelnut, coffee, licorice. Taste is bittersweet. Creamy, reminds me of rum after all. Overall ok. A little too bitter for me.

Bottle, as a gift by Marco from Sottobisio. Very dark brown with a beautiful light and steady foam. Impressive coffee aroma over a dry and ashy smoke. Some dark chocolate, low vanilla. Medium-bodied, well carbonated, with a smooth texture. Dry and refreshing despite all the darkness. Very nice!

330ml bottle shared @FrankenBierFest (Rome). Pours a copper color with no head. Aroma of ripe apple, port, caramel, oxidation. Flavour is a bit flat, high sweet with a sourish end and a little astringency. Medium body, no carbonation. A bit thin.
