Bottle. Amber caramel filtered pour, gassy little foam dissipating in a blink. Nose: a bit vinous, port wine, apple. Mouth: really sharp, timid in a way, dry sourish body.

330ml bottle shared @FrankenBierFest (Rome). Pours a copper color with no head. Aroma of ripe apple, port, caramel, oxidation. Flavour is a bit flat, high sweet with a sourish end and a little astringency. Medium body, no carbonation. A bit thin.

Bottle shared @FrankenBierFest (Rome). Pours amber/copper, no head. Aroma of ripe apple, port, caramel, a vinous touch. Interesting. Flavour is complex malty and vinous, well balanced, nice little sourness and a light astringency. Medium to high body, no carbonation. Very good barley!

330ml bottle shared @Johnny’s Off License (Rome). Pours cloudy copper with a medium off-white head. Aroma is malty and hoppy, caramel, resin, herbal, tropical fruits. Flavour is balanced, medium malty with a good bitter end. Medium to high body, medium carbonation. It was not fresh but still very good!
