Bottle, courtesy of Marco. Pours unclear yellow with a low head. Aroma is light grassy hops, floral, little grains and butter. Body is light and a tad watery, lively carbonation, decent bitterness, a little low on flavours. Dry and refreshing, yet a bit thin altogether. Still good.

330ml bottle from trade with Anstei. Pours dark, almost black, small deep tan head. Aroma of milk chocolate, caramel. Taste presents a nice cocoa / coffee roast character, hints of leather. Light carbonation. Nice sweet stout.

Bottle, many thanks anstei! Slightly hazy amber color with white head. Aroma is juicy tropical fruits, grassy, toasted malts, resinous, bready. Taste is tropical fruits, again toasted malts and a strong pine resin flavour, quite West Coasty. Medium carbonation, slightly warming finish. Works, but it’s hardly a NEIPA, and a bit too sweet, I’d say.

330ml bottle from trade with Anstei. Many thanks! Pours hazy amber, off-white head. Sweet malts rule the nose with some over-ripe fruit. Taste is a little harsh, in-your-face and malt-heavy but some decent fruit flavours shine through once it settles. Not bad.

28th May 2017, another bottle brought by Mat to the Burning Soul brewery tasting session, cheers mate. Red hue to the amber pour, weak topping of off-white bubbles. Winey, red berry aroma, taste had a sour front with red wine, oak and berries within the tart/sharp nature of the beer. Not normally my sort of brew, but I liked this.

330ml bottle @ Burning Soul tasting, brought by me. Pours deep reddish amber, thin off-white head. Aroma is fruity red berries, some defined oaky red wine, continuing to taste. Quite rich, with a welcome sour edge. Liked this, wish I had another bottle to savour.

Bottled, thanks Bov! Black with beige head. Rich chocolate licorice aroma. Mid sweet with medium-full body and soft mouthfeel. Lots of chocolate, some tobacco and mild smoke . Low bitterness. Astonishingly harmonious Imperial Stout. Edgeless.
