Bottle at home, from Vienna, 31st March 19. Pours black, slight white head. Aroma is liquorice, milk chocolate. Taste is roasted malts, bitter chocolate, milk chocolate, coffee. Tasty and smooth.

Bottle at home in garden, from Biergrissler, Vienna, 17th March 19. Pours clear straw in colour, beautiful head. Aroma is clean, yeast and citrus. Wow this is a proper pils, taste is clean, dry, bitter, some yeast and citrus, long bitter finish. Great one for the garden and well crafted.

330 ml bottle from Biergreissler, bb 25.05.2019. Dark amber, clear body, with a big, fluffy, lacing, beige head. Aroma of smoke, flowers, fresh herbs, hay, dried fruits, some citrus, some toffee, some honey-like sweetness. Tastes quite similar, with an oily, sweet, honey-like body. Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a quite lively carbonation. Finishes medium dry, smokey, medium sweet, floral, a bit citric, a bit herbal, with sweet fruits, some honey. Very nice. Really interesting combination of smokey notes, floral hops and a broad, sweet body. As all Bierschmiede beers, very well balanced and smooth to drink. Quaffable, unqiue stuff. Score: 7 / 4 / 7 / 4 / 15

330 ml bottle, bb 25.3.2019. Amber, clear body, with a big, fluffy, lacing, light beige head. Aroma of flowers, fresh herbs, hay, bread, honey, toffee, moderate stone pine. Tastes pretty similar. Medium, a bit oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation. Finishes quite dry, medium bitter, a bit sweet, with the stone pine finally prominent, resinous, floral, herbal, grainy, hoppy. Really nice. My bottle isn't fresh, so the stone pine faded a bit and is only prominent in the finish. Otherwise this is a quaffable Amber Lager how I like it, clean and balanced, with well dosed hops and a smooth malt body. Score: 7 / 4 / 7 / 4 / 14

Bottle, many thanks herrklemann! Rather clear golden color with fluffy white head. Aroma is grassy hops, fresh German hops, light pale malts. Taste is grassy hops, sugar icing, a touch too sweet maybe, but great hop profile. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Very tasty, like expected from this brewery!

0,33l bottle at home bought from Biergreissler about 2 weeks ago. BB 25.05.2019. redish / brown color, small off-white head. smells smoky, earthy, plums, light blood sausage, spices, lightly nutty, caramel. nice smell. medium to full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes earthy, bit smoky, marzipan, bit green herbal, tobacco, spices, hints of some sweetness. finishes lightly bitter with notes of smoke, herbs and spices. Tastes like a classical smoke beer, plums are almost only noticeable on the smell. good one overall.

0,33 L bottle, consumed from the bottle on the train. Harsh coffee aroma, with some bitter pecans, brown sugar, light sea salt, and chicory. Fairly dry, with a sharp bitterness. Heavy body, with a grainy, syrupy mouthfeel. This is a fun, complex, and aggressive.
