Bottle (BB 10/2020), huge thanks Hrabren! Shared with him and Ogivlado. Daaark brown body, tiny off white head. Creamy aroma, nutty, orange, grainy, some mild alcohol, caramel, hmmm... Very nice really! Lean, sweetish herbal-orange, soapy, some cocoa, big bitterness, bigger alcohol... not really on the same level as the taste, fairly complex, but oddly balanced. Soooo close to greatness, but fails really in the taste.

Clear amber colour with a medium off-white head. Aroma is a bit smoked, herbal and grainy. Taste is smoked meat, dried fruits and soft honey. Medium carbonation. Mid smoked palate.

Bottle at home, thanks to an IP with Geiserich, 26/09/19. Clear golden with a well presented lasting off white head. Nose is pale malts, light breads, lemon zest, toasted grains. Taste comprises bready malts, light perfume, light sugars, floral notes, cereals, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent flavoursome pils.

Tap. Golden color with thick white head Not very pleasant aroma with malt, bitter hops. Taste, solid malty base followed by nice hoppy bitterness.

Das Werkstück ist wirklich ein bersteinfarbenes Märzen, wie ich es in Österreich nicht erwartet habe. Dabei hat es einen schönen malzigen Körper mit einem karamelligen Geschmack, dazu etwas fein dosierter Hopfen im Abgang -so soll es sein.

Late to the party. Top notch lager, resinous, with loads of honey, crackers and grass in the nose. Medium sweet, resinous, herbal bitterness. Superb balance and very smooth, as usual with Bierschmiede.

0,33l bottle at home shared by Powy, big thanks. BB 30.11.2019. brownish lightly hazy color, small white head. smells earthy, spices, peppery, light buttery, nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes earthy, spices, peppery, grassy, herbal, tobacco. finishes medium bitter with notes of tobacco, earthy and spicy notes. nice one, a bit on the bitter side, and some light buttery notes. good stuff though.
