Day 2 of the post Xmas Bamberg Jolly, bottle at the brewery tap - Erlangen, 25/01/14. Hazed orange yellow with a moderate off white head. Nose is yeast, bread, nana skin, bannoffee pie. Taste comprises much the same, earthy, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok offering for 2.9%.

0.5l bottle. Hazy orangish brown body, off-white head. Aroma and taste of banana, caramel and chocolate. Nice one.

Day 2 of the post Xmas Bamberg Jolly, bottle at the brewery tap - Erlangen, 25/01/14. Hazed orange amber with a moderate off white head. Nose is grainy, aspartamic, faint citrus. Taste comprises pale malt, straw, paper, grass, artifical sweetners. Light in body, fine carbonation, drying close. Meh !

Day 2 of the post Xmas Bamberg Jolly, tap at the brewery tap - Erlangen, 25/01/14. Clear pale golden with a thin off white head that eventually vanished. Nose is grass, faint caramel, straw, lemon. Taste comprises bread dough, citric tang, light caramel, grassy. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, drying closure. So so pils.

On tap. Hazy orange body, nice long lasting white head. Aroma of cloves, banana and earthy hops. The taste is quite sweet, it reminds me of ripe banana, honey, bread and some fruity hops. This beer is really good. Not sure why the somewhat low scores.

0.5l bottle. Hazy light golden body, white head. Aroma of bread, floral hops and some cheesy yeast. Taste of bread and floral hops. Very balanced brew. Nothing extraordinary, but it’s a nice everyday beer.

On tap. Clear amber body, long lasting off-white head. Aroma of toast and some caramel with floral and fruity hops. Taste of toast, caramel and orange with some grassy hops. A bit watery body, but it’s still nice.
