26/07/2013 Mad for Beer (tap). Dorata, opalescente, torbida, schiuma bianca abbondante e molto persistente. Al naso sentori di grano, frumento, lieviti, esteri (banana), leggero limone, buonissima! In bocca è equilibrata ma con un tocco piacevolmente "rustico", frumento, malto, banana, lieviti, leggero acidulo nel finale, gradevolissima e ben fatta. Corpo medio, carbonazione medio-bassa. Gran bella weisse questa!

26/07/2013 Mad for Beer (tap). Dorata limpidissima, schiuma bianca abbondante, mediamente persistente. Al naso sentori di malto, miele, pane, latte, deliziosa. In bocca malto, pane, nel complesso è un po’ timida per quanto riguarda l’intensità e manca di uno spunto amaro (cosa che invece hanno molte zwickel "moderne"). Rimane una zwickel gradevolissima, equilibrata, ben fatta e perfettamente in stile. Corpo leggero, ottima beva, carbonazione media. Davvero niente male!

Bottled (thanks Kim!). Somewhat deep golden colour, small white head. Aroma is toffee, some sweet malts and some mild earthyness. Flavour is fruits, some toffee, sweet malts, grains and quite sweet.

Aroma has herbal notes, malt, some grass, cereal and hints of honey. Flavour has honey, malty notes, some grass and herbal tones. Also distant moldy cellar notes on some sips. Grainy, sweetish and somewhat sticky. Something between märzen and helles.

0.5l bottle. Dark ruby/brown body, light beige head. Aroma of caramel, toast and nuts. Tastes like toast and caramel with some roastyness and some grassy hops. Nice one.

0.5l bottle. Clear yellow/golden body, huge white head. Aroma of bread and floral hops. Sweet malty flavor with bread and some floral hops. The finish is on the hoppy side. Not bad.

Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass a bit darker than exspected, nice head. Starts not as mild as exspected, fine malty-dry with some roasty notes. Modest bitter. Finish mild but not washy, fine spicy. Quite drinkable. Not bad!

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, nuts, sweet lightly toasted malt and hops. Nice and smooth. Great vienna.

Bottle from bierzwerg.de. Chestnut color with medium beige head. Strong aroma of roasted malt, caramel, honey. Taste, roasted malt, burned sugar, bee wax, fruitiness, some herbs. Nice bitterness in finish. Alcohol is well hidden. Tasty.
