500ml Bottle - Dark amber with a foamy head. Dried fruit, caramel and cocoa in the aroma. Malty and slightly sweet taste with raisins, rye, sultanas, caramel and cocoa.

Bottle. Hazy amber color with creamy eggshell head. Aroma is caramel, yeast, a bit sugar icing.Taste is sugar icing, nutty, light herbal, caramalts. Oily mouthfeel with low natural carbonation, rather sweet aftertaste. Quite pleasant, but also quite sweet.

500ml bottle. Cloudy, amber-ish dark golden colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Mellow malty and herbal hoppy aroma with slightly bready and minimally yeasty spicy touch, cautious hints of laurel, juniper, elderberry. Taste is sweet-ish malty with hints of caramel and a bready touch, minimally doughy yeasty overtones, a slightly grassy and minimalyl herbal hoppy touch of juniper, laurel, elderberry; smooth and soft palate, gentle carbonation. Homogeneous, harmonious - nice.

(tap, 100cl Stein @ Annafest, Forchheim) Hazy, amber colour with a mid-sized slightly off-white foamy head. Citric hoppy aroma with yeasty spice and subtle grainy malt. Moderately bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a smooth carbonation. Juicy malty taste with yeasty spice, backed by citric and slightly grassy, almost a bit ethereally hops, lingering into the balanced bitter-sweet and slightly juicy finish. Very good. 27.VII.18

Tap, Mass Steinkrug. Offwhite head. Nice fat-fruity malt aroma, vibrant hop aromatics. Medium full, chewy, light dry sparkly. Fairly fruity entry, big hop profile: Grass, orangepeel, herbs. Dry Mineral minty grassy finish. Nice!

Smoky, slightly chocolately and caramel malty aroma, notes of smoked ham, smoked eel, beechwood. Taste is smoky, tart-ish, dry, woody, minimally tannic, roasty and chocolately malty, hints of smoked ham, beechwood; well hidden alcohol.
