Top notch hefeweizen, chewy, creamy, a nice equal banana:clove balance. How the style should be. Online hier gibt bier

22-02-20 // taster from bottle at a guided tasting at Kuehn Kunz Rosen. 2013 bottled. Definitely over its prime. Heavy complex. Oxidized but actually blends into the heavy sherry aromas. Acetobacter sourness. Wood. Dry fruits. Red fruits. Low on carbo. Interesting.

Bottle from Great Grog. Hazy amber body with thin off-white head that quickly fades. Low carbonation. No lacing. Aroma of caramel and red fruits. Flavour of lightly roasted malt and stewed red apple. Thin body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft fizz. This tastes better than it looks. It’s sweet and moreish.

Corked bottle. Golden color. candied pear fruit and soft dusty notes in the aroma. Malty sweet alcoholic flavor with soft notes of roast and caramel. pear, hints of wood. Not really special considering the huge price tag. But good enough. Tasted again in august 2015. Canned peach in the aroma. Malty flavor with hints of cinnamon. A slight sourness. Apple, pear, obstler. Better as a year ago.

Rating #11111. Corked bottle, picked up in Forchheim. #591/2300. Amber color, no head. Malt, toffee, butter and tequila in the aroma. Malty, very sweet flavor with toffee, butterm tequila, hints of vanilla and oak and some plums. Alcohol clearly noticeable. The tequila doesn’t create a miracle with this oversweet bock, alas!
